Hello, and thank you for visiting my website and hopefully getting your copy of my first published book, “Lunch Break Poetry. A Book of Abstract Poems.” I started writing when I was probably around 11 or 12 years old as a pastime. As a little girl, I always had a big imagination. Like most awkward teens, I felt that I didn’t really fit in with my peers. I started to write about my teenage life as a way to cope with my extreme shyness and lack of self-confidence. Teenage shows like “Family Matters and Saved by the Bell” were just a few inspirations for me.
It’s safe to say we writers use words to express what we are not able to convey in speaking. Now, in my adult years, my desire for writing has come full circle. I’m just a little less unsure of myself, but I’m confident I’m following my passions.
